Field day is on June 9. :)
As you all know, the pressure's on for us to win this time. We can't be the nerds forever. It's not just the class, though. If we make ourselves look like retards, then we're upsetting them. FROM THIS POINT ON, I HEREBY DECLARE THAT WE HAVE TO WORK HARD TO TURN INTO SUPERSTARATHLETES. Try to pass these strategies on to the other people in the class. Not on FB, in person.

    Baton Relay:
The strategies for how to run a relay race deal mostly with the order of the runners. Who runs first, who runs second, and so on? The most popular strategy for running a successful relay race is running your best runner last, and your worst runner third.
The second best runner will run first, or "lead off" the race, and the remaining runner runs second. This strategy of saving your best runner for last is used mostly because that runner will know what they have to do in order to win the race by the time they receive the baton.
If the team is leading, they simply need to run in control and maintain the lead. If the team is behind, then the last runner, or the "anchor," has to try to make up the distance to the leading team. This is something that your best runner should be able to handle, and thus would give the team the best chance to win.
Running a relay race is not always easy to do. Relay teams are usually made up of the best athletes on the team, and as such, are very selective. There is also an aspect to the relay race that is not involved in the other races: the baton. Running with a baton, and passing a baton, are both things that a runner usually does not have to think about while running a race.
In a relay, you must ensure that you always maintain possession of the baton, and when it comes time to pass it, you must make it gets to the other runner without dropping it. Dropping the baton can cause a team to slow down, and we don't want that.

    Water Relay:
There's not much to say about this, but make sure to KEEP YOUR HANDS CUPPED. This way the water will stay safe in your hands. When running to the bucket, remember to go fast, but don't go so fast that the water just drops out of your hands. Also, make sure that you don't kick over the bucket of water, like what happened last year >:O Remember: Take as much water as you can. The object of the game is to see who has the most, not who can go the fastest.

    Potato Sack:
    BALANCE IS THE KEY. :O
Don't fall. Go fast. yeah. add more if you want. :P

Ball Between Legs, I mean ankles:
Ohwait. None of us are doing this. x) Nvm, then.

    Obstacle Course:
OMG, OBSTACLE COURSE. The smallest people should be here. Why? Because of the hula hoops. I am going to trade out my spot because I am huge. Jenny, since you're already skinny, you won't have trouble going through. I reccommend that you put one foot in, put your head in, then your other foot. When you put your second foot inside, balance yourself on the other foot, so you don't trip on the hula hoop. That's what happened to Terisha during gym, and caused our team to lose major points 'cos it slowed us down. Hurdles are fairly easy. Make sure you know that it's coming so you can just jump high over it. Usually it's Hurdle, Hula hoop, and then another Hurdle. So after hurdle, prepare for the hula hoop.

    Tug of War:
    OHMYGOSH.
    STRONG.
    PULL.
PULL TO THE SIDE WHEN DESPERATE.
Shanjida has notes on this. M&S, start working out!

    Football Catch:
None of us are in this?

K, remember all this sheit. And I'm pretty sure I forgot something, so add it on. :)
If we gotta leave 7th grade, we gotta go with a bang! ;)
